Habits where hypnosis makes a big difference
OVEREATING AND SUGAR CRAVINGS:
Overeating is not always about hunger, but often about a feeling such as restlessness, fatigue, or a busy mind.
Food becomes a way to create calm.
With hypnosis, we can change how the body responds, leading to fewer thoughts about food and new ways to find calm.
We also work on creating a more relaxed and balanced relationship with the feeling of hunger.
SMOKING:
You have probably decided before to quit smoking without succeeding.
Your focus may have been mostly on “quitting” – on what you do not want. But the body does not always understand “not”.
With hypnosis, we focus on what you do want.
What motivates you to create a new lifestyle?
What will make the difference so that it works this time?
General hypnosis or personal hypnosis?
Many people have tried general hypnosis, such as an audio file or a video, focusing on quitting smoking or weight loss.
General audio files and videos use the fact that when you are in hypnosis, you are much more open to suggestions for change.
For some, that is enough to create a significant change. For others, it is not enough.
The patterns behind habits and dependency vary greatly from person to person.
From the first session, we tailor the hypnosis to your patterns and your challenges.
This increases the likelihood that you reach your goal quickly, possibly already after one session.
A safe and calm process
I set aside 90 minutes for each session, so there is plenty of time. You should allow up to 2 hours in case we run a little over.
We start with a conversation, where you describe your habit and the situations where it is most challenging.
Hypnosis is a collaboration between you and me. During hypnosis, you will be in a deeply relaxed state, while remaining awake, aware, and in control at all times.
Based on our initial conversation, we tailor the session to you.
We use the increased openness to new ideas that hypnosis creates.
How many sessions do I need?
Work with habits can be very short.
Most people will notice a change already after the first session, and for some, one session is enough to let go of a habit.
It also happens that the habit is not just a habit.
Sometimes it reflects a need or a challenge that requires attention for us to reach the goal.
My experience
Some people have experienced quitting smoking, only to replace one habit with another.
A classic example is cigarettes being replaced with chocolate and sweets. A new habit that can quickly lead to gaining 4–5 kilos.
It may be necessary to work with the underlying patterns before a habit can be left behind for good.
We tailor the process to you, so you achieve the change you want as quickly as possible.
Afternoons and on weekends
I offer sessions on weekdays after 5 PM and on weekends. All times are stated in Central European Time (CET), Denmark.
